I have been very busy and haven't posted much or anything really. I even felt like I shouldn't even post anything anymore but writing helps.
I have just finished my courses at the IT school and will be taking my vendor's exam tomorrow at 2:30pm, if I pass, I will be certified as a web designer. And this weekend, starting Friday and ending Sunday will be younger sister's college graduation party. She is receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Public Communications from a university within our area. I created her graduation's party invitations. Her actual ceremony is this Saturday at 10am and the party follows after, however, being that we're from a tight community, we celebrate for about 3 days when it comes to parties. :) I took a couple days off work to help Mom clean, cook, etc.
May 19, I start my college courses for my major. I am not sure if I mentioned it in the other postings. I am taking 2 Summer classes and am already registered for the Fall for 3 additional classes. It will be a busy Summer this year. Then again, I don't even do much but go to work, school and spend time with my husband and my family. I honestly can't remember the last time I hung out with some friends.
Oh yea, and an old friend who I haven't spoken to for 2 years.. well, that I actually erased from my life... number AND all...., who I haven't seen or spoken to for 2 years suddenly texted me to see if I had the same number and to see how I was doing, if I was married and telling me what he's been up to (which I never asked about). I am not sure what he has up his sleeves. Whatever it is, I don't like it. I kept it short and told him I was married. Nothing else.
Speaking of the married life - my husband, my world, he's doing better.. I just hope he gets completely better. It's been since November '07 and I haven't seen him go back to his 100% normal self. But he's getting there... I just wish to see him progress quicker. I'll just end that here. Until then..

First Day of School
Good thing I haven't been feeling sick like I did in the past week. I've been eating a lot better and I can eat without feeling really sick to my stomach. I never checked what it was but I did take a lot of medicines for it. But I am better and that's all that matters.
I started school today. It was orientation really but it is counted as my first day. I am attending an IT school to get my certification in Web Design. After I finish my courses and take the official exam, I will be be a CIW Associate. (Certified Internet Web). Then I plan to go for my Masters CIW Designer certificate. And in the Fall, I will go back to my community college and finish up my degree in Graphic Design.
I'm back to working 8am to 5pm and then I go to school right afterwards and don't leave school until 9pm. I packed a small dinner and snack to bring to school with me so, I wouldn't starve. It is going to be real busy for awhile. My husband is also going back to school too; so it's going to be a lot of studying at home. He is going back to be certified in A+. We're a bunch of computer geeks. :)
Oh man, this weekend is going to be something! It's a friend's birthday and she is having a reserved dinner at a Japanese restaurant called Fuji or Fiji, I can't remember; and the plan afterwards is for everyone to go to The Forum. Gosh, I have not gone to the clubs in so long! I think the last time was for my 23rd birthday where we went club hopping and urgh, just not a good picture of me then. I used to just randomly go and meet up with friends there and now, I'm just so scared to do that alone. And the last time at a bar and actually drank was for my "black and white" birthday party last year where I reserved an actual room. I haven't really drank since Hawaii. I only had a glass of wine here or there since. Anyway, if the husband wants to go to the club then we most likely will but if he doesn't want to then we are going home to watch some television and sleep!! Oh forgot, I did go to a bar recently for another girl's birthday in January and was required to wear a dress.. that was dreadful. But it was fun.
It's the CIAA weekend too. It's going to be crazy hectic downtown! I am not sure if I want to be in all that peopleness, crowdness and smotheringness. (3 made-up words!)
I need some sleep! I gotta get up at 5:45am.

3 Day Weekend
I had a 3 day weekend due to President's Day but I had to request off from work for that day. I spent it with my Mom, Mother in law and my husband most of the time. Saturday, my husband sat with me through 4 hours while I had my hair highlighted/foiled, washed, cut, blow dried and straightened and styled. And he had to run and get some gum for me to chew on while I was at the salon because I was getting queasy and only ate a small bowl of plain grits because of my stomach acting up. He then took me to a restaurant to eat and joke around, I only had soup. I have pictures of my hair being foiled but not any new photos of the actual hair style. But there's blonde everywhere, it looks fine, I wanted an actual shorter cut with a lot of layers but didn't go through with it. Maybe I will post photos up later.
Yesterday, we went to a school for an admission appointment to discuss some school plans. More about this later.
But I've had this bad stomach issue for 7 days already! I've been eating and throwing up. I've had these crazy headaches that causes me to be very nauseous and it would lead me to throwing up after I eat. I can't eat as much and have to be careful with what I eat because if not, I end up barfing. It's a pain. I don't know what it is... maybe a stomach virus or I ate something bad or something but it wasn't a good feeling the first few days. It is going away slowly though. I've been taking all sorts of medicine for my stomach and nausea. Does any of it work? We'll soon find out.

Laughter
Ever since they changed my shift at work, I've been coming home between 6pm and 7pm. I have dinner with my husband, have a cup of greentea, check my e-mails, run on the treadmill and then watch some TV while I do little things on the laptop but today, I caught this show called Just For Laughs that aired on ABC between 8 and 9 and it made me stop all the things I was doing and took my full attention. I laughed so hard! But quietly since my husband was trying to sleep. The show is from Canada and it's about hilarious pranks. I don't easily laugh at obvious things. But I've noticed that shows like Friends, Seinfeld, The King of Queens, Everybody Loves Raymond and That's So Raven (Disney) actually makes me laugh out loud. I laugh at the silly things. I've been listening to a few audio clips of Dane Cook and the late Mitch Hedberg too. I never really gave other comedians a chance. I used to just watch Carlos Mencia and then got really bored of him. My husband took me to the Comedy Zone to see him 2 years ago and that was when he was really good but he hasn't done anything new since. I love to laugh! And that's why my husband is so great to me, haha because he makes me laugh all the time. Laughter soothes me.
Here is a Just For Laughs clip from Youtube, hahaha:

Greentea, Theraflu and Water
I've been sick since Sunday evening. I'm not sure what I exactly have but I know I do have an ear infection somewhere. I took some kind of flu medicine that a friend gave me during work and my whole body shut down, my muscles seemed to be relaxed and I became real sleepy at work; it helped but it wasn't a good idea to take it at work. I had to keep myself up the last 3 hours there. Anyway, I've been drinking warm greentea in the morning, water during the day and Theraful at night before I go to bed. Greentea helps my stomach and it appears to clean out my system. Water keeps me hyrdated through the day. And Theraful helps my sore throat, fever, coughing and whatever this sinus issue is that I have. But I can't complain, I am getting better and my husband is sick again, with a fever of 103. Worried.
I tried to constantly register for my classes for this short session for next month for school but the system kept on giving me an error. So I called up the school and they told me that I had to contact the instructor and I did but she said that the classes were full and I would have to continue to try and register weekly. I guess, if someone drops out of a class, I could be next in line to register for the class. I guess I will keep trying.
Ok, that's all for tonight. I need to take my Theraful that will knock me out and also care for my husband.

"My Samsung"
It has only been a couple of months since we met,
But I’ve touched you in many ways, with no regrets
The only woman in your life that turns you on,
I must say, your charms, I fell upon
I embrace myself from the yearn to hold you in the palm of my hand..
Cause your love comes from my own fingertip commands.
You amaze me with your good size and ability to flip
And the way you easily go down in the pockets by my hips
The joy of pushing your many buttons, side way and upright
You love, in return, the silly things I write
In my car, I check to see if you are with me,
A day without you, I go through pure misery
While in public, you and I must be very discreet
You give me the options of: vibrate, a beep, no sound; that’s so sweet
And when at times, I do get bored and lonely,
Games to be played; I grab for you, my one and only.
Then I think, and smile, and remind myself - I am not alone
Oh, how I adore you, my black Samsung SCH u740 flip cell phone

A Sunday at Starbucks.
I had breakfast this morning with my husband, a late breakfast... around 12PM. Well, it was pretty much a brunch. We watched Bridget Jones's Diary, the first one on, on television. He asked so many questions as to what was happening in the movie, it was questions that didn't make any sense to me. Haha. Maybe it was because I've seen the movie so many times and own the actual DVD, that, when he asked me questions, I just either shook my head or gave short answers. He knew I was a little annoyed by it. Haha.
So after a little brunch and some TV, we decided to go to Starbucks for his coffee. I brought my own mug of hot Greentea to sip on there. I don't drink Starbucks coffee at all. I used to get their frappachinos all the time but then really got sick of the taste. I don't like it at all. My last one was in Honolulu, Hawaii in September. I ordered one on that hot Summer day and never had one since then. But now, my husband is way into it... he drinks the coffee and the frappachinos. He didn't know how to order them and used to have me order for him all the time but now, he's got the hang of it.
We sat outside of the store, in the freezing cold, with our hot coffee and tea and talked. It was a good feeling. We haven't done something like that in awhile. We're usually at home with the TV running and we're both doing two different things. Hopefully, there will be other days like this. It doesn't necessarily have to be at the branded, green, coffee store though.
